Matthew Horwich provides customized test preparation for the ASVAB, ASTB-E and OAR. Matt is a patient, creative and effective tutor for all ability levels, all ages and all locations.

ASVAB expert with over 20 years of ASVAB teaching experience. Co-authored Kaplan's ASVAB preparation book. Scored in the 99th percentile (the highest possible score) of the ASVAB, and has helped thousands to raise their scores.

I'm a passionate and experienced tutor dedicated to helping students succeed in both academics and life. I've worked with students from top universities like Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, and Georgia Tech, and I work with local students throughout Richmond, Sugar Land, Katy, and nearby Fort Bend County communities.

I hold both BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering with high honors from Georgia Tech, ranked among the top engineering schools in the country. During my time there, I was a TA for Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, and I also tutored Calculus and Fluid Mechanics.

With over 8 years of experience as a design engineer at Fortune 500 companies, I bring real-world insight and academic excellence to every session. My engineering background gives me a unique perspective on how mathematical and scientific concepts apply to real-world problems, helping students understand not just the "how" but the "why" behind every concept.
